It is now time to master skills and specialise in hardware and infrastructure Support for personal computers, data communication and network support, hardware and infrastructure support for office products, with further specialisation(s) into IT support fields.
What do I need to get in?
- Knowledge, comprehension and application of English at Grade 12 (NQF 4) or equivalent level, AND
- Knowledge, comprehension and application of Mathematical Literacy at Grade 12 (NQF 4) or equivalent level, OR
- Further Education and Training Certificate: Information Technology: Technical Support (SAQA ID: 78964), OR
- Further Education and Training Certificate: Information Technology: Computer Programming (SAQA ID: 73429)
What certification do I get?
After you have successfully completed all modules in the programme you will be awarded a National Certificate: Information Technology: Systems Support NQF L5 issued by MICT SETA. There is also the option to take the external international examinations and receive Microsoft Certification.
